Ben Wittbrodt
I am currently studying to get my B.S. in Material Science and Engineering at Michigan Tech. I am also the Scanning Electron Microscopy laboratory instructor for the Material Science department. This past summer (May-August 2012) was spent in Jackson MI at Gerdau working with high alloy steel and working on improving the process and improving the refractory consumption.

I am primarily interested in the research of electronic materials and currently focusing on solar cells. Other interests include composite materials.
Other Activities
I am a triathlete and beginning my training for an Ironman Triathlon in 2015. Also, I am a member of Team RWB helping wounded veterans reintegrate into society through physical activity and a support system building real friendships.
