I am currently studying to get my B.S. in Material Science and Engineering at Michigan Tech.  I am also the Scanning Electron Microscopy laboratory instructor for the Material Science department.  This past summer (May-August 2012) was spent in Jackson MI at [http://www.gerdau.com/specialsteel/ Gerdau] working with high alloy steel and working on improving the process and improving the refractory consumption.
I am currently studying to get my M.S. in Material Science and Engineering at Michigan Tech as part of the MOST research groupMy thesis focuses on the economic viability of small scale photovoltaic (PV) systems using 3-D printed components.
