Ayon Shahed

In 2008 I completed my undergraduate studies at Queen's University and proceeded to enroll in their graduate program. During my graduate studies I dedicated much of my time to studying solar thermal systems, solar PV systems, policy development, data acquisition and instrumentation devices, energy modeling and sustainability in business practice. In October 2010 I received my M.Eng in mechanical engineering.

Prior to university I attended schooling in both Canada and Bangladesh. I would like to work in the field of international development and utilize my skills to provide education, engineering and aid to underprivileged societies. I am specifically interested in labour initiatives, use of technology for empowerment and appropriate design.
