About Me
- My name is Aubrey Woern
- I am a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student at Michigan Technological University. I recently joined the Open Source Hardware Enterprise and am looking forward to helping with the ongoing projects.
Interests
I have a heavy interest in Open Source technology especially with 3D printing. I also have interests in quadcopters and alternative energy.
Experience
I have had two summer internships since I've started college at The Viking Corporation that involved design and fabrication of Fire Protection Sprinklers. Last summer I built two RepRap printers, one for me and one for a friend of mine. With my printer I printed an FPV racing quadcopter that I wired and soldered myself.
