  Hello! My research interests include renewable energy, community solar development, sustainable energy systems, [https://www.appropedia.org/Category:MY5490 solar photovoltaic science], climate law & governance, land conservation, among others. I hold a B.S. in [https://www.canr.msu.edu/csus/undergraduate/ess Environmental Studies & Sustainability] from [https://msu.edu/ Michigan State University] with a concentration in [https://reg.msu.edu/AcademicPrograms/ProgramDetail.aspx?Program=5406 Environmental Economics]. I am currently serving as a Research Assistant to [https://appropedia.org/User:J.M.Pearce Dr. Joshua Pearce] in the [https://www.mtu.edu/materials/ Department of Materials Science & Engineering] where together with others we are working on a new agrivoltaics concept: Dual-Use [[Photovoltaic]] and Pasture-Raised Rabbit Farms. I am also affiliated with [https://www.appropedia.org/Category:MOST Michigan Tech's Open Sustainability Technology Lab]. Previously, I have held an internship at the [https://www.environmentalcouncil.org/ Michigan Environmental Council] in Lansing, Michigan, working to drive the environmental agenda through innovative policy solutions and look forward to continuing the movement towards sustainable life on Earth through research and service. Beyond graduate school, I envision my career playing a direct role in increasing the use of clean, low-cost, renewable energy while simultaneously fostering community sustainability.

Hello! My name is Alexis Pascaris and I am a graduate student at Michigan Technological University studying Environmental & Energy Policy. My research interests include (but not limited to) renewable energy, community solar development, sustainable energy systems, climate law & governance, and land conservation. I hold a B.S. in Environmental Studies & Sustainability from Michigan State University with a concentration in Environmental Economics. I am currently serving as a Research Assistant to Dr. Joshua Pearce in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering where together with others we are working on a new agrivoltaics concept: Dual-Use Photovoltaic and Pasture-Raised Rabbit Farms. I am also affiliated with Michigan Tech's Open Sustainability Technology Lab and Solar Photovoltaic Science & Engineering.
