Permission to copy content from Practical Action

I was the one that got permission from PA years ago when we were operating under GNU license, and they gave permission to publish under that license (they have given similar permission to other groups, so it seems clear they want to get the stuff broadly circulated). We informed them of our license change when that happened (in accordance with the rules for license changing as we understood them), but didn't hear anything. CurtB 06:36, 25 February 2011 (PST)

I did talk to Neil Noble from PA sometime after that, in mid-2008, and they seemed pretty relaxed about licensing. I seem to remember we talked about CC-by-sa as well (which is the same as Gnu FDL in important aspects). I wish I had my notes in electronic form, but they seemed happy with that kind of license, broadly speaking.
It would be nice to have clear permission though!
We have an incoming intern within the next couple of months (assuming things go to plan) who is now finishing up as PA. Her connection to PA might make communication easier. --Chriswaterguy 06:45, 25 February 2011 (PST)
