Signing on[edit source]
What does it mean to "sign on"? Perhaps there needs to be a way of signing up in an official way, otherwise it will always be a big ambiguous who is actually in the network. That could be an issue when it comes to setting directions and saying what the network stands for. (Of course, we could still list those who have expressed support for OSN, even if they haven't signed up.)
Or maybe it's like a wiki community, which work by consensus without having to define membership in a tight way ... but that's a little different in that a wiki has some person or group that owns the domain and can act as arbiter if things get really messy.
