Who and what?

This page has been edited by 3 active Appropedians - should we label it as an Appropedia-initiated project, or say something like "initiated by Appropedia Curt Beckmann, and open to all"?

Also, is this planned to be a informal network, or something more formal? (I'd prefer informal, a kind of meeting point and round table for discussion.) --Chriswaterguy · talk 05:31, 3 January 2008 (PST)

Laura Miller just did an edit addressing grammar, format, and some layout. She had the following query dealing with Open Collaboration:

  1. the feasibility of Open Collaboration has been demonstrated beyond doubt.

As I read the page, it seems "Open Collaboration" is more of a concept than an application.

Thanks Laura, and Preston,
I think this is talking about open collaboration in the general sense (capitals confusingly used for emphasis). It has been demonstrated through e.g. Wikipedia, Linux, Firefox, and other open source software.
The specific form of open collaboration discussed on the page is a concept, yes. Let me know if anything is not clear. Thanks again! --Chriswaterguy 11:22, 2 September 2011 (PDT)
