Thinking, belief and rationality[edit source]

When thinking about memes, and why we believe what we believe, it's interesting to ask whether we can be more conscious about the memes that run our brains.

I find Less Wrong an interesting community around these questions, and I'm currently reading a very, very clever and readable introduction to rationality that I found via that site: Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality (web version, downloads).
