In short

At the shop

Buy:

• 12 4’x8’x1" sheets
• 3"/6" tape
• cutter and blades
• gloves and masks

At home

Just two people.

• Cut 6 sheets at the diagonal: 3 in one direction, 3 in the other direction. (If you want all logos inside, and all shiny outside.)
• Tape points and bases of the 12 triangles, and the 8’ sides of the rectangles.

Make 2 semi-walls

Make 2 semi-walls, each made of 3 panels: (Logos towards you.)

• Place 2 panels with no gap between their 4’ sides, tape them together, fold like a book, and tape "the spine of the book". We call this a tight hinge.
• Place the 3rd panel along the 2nd, with a gap wide as the thickness of a panel, tape them together, fold like a book (with a panel between them to keep the gap), and tape "the spine of the book". We call this a loose hinge.

Make 2 semi-roofs

Make 2 semi-roofs, each made of 6 triangles:

• Place the 6 triangles as 1 triangle, 2 roof-sides (each is 2 triangles), 1 triangle. (Logos towards you.)

Top view: triangle (gap) triangle+triangle (gap) triangle+triangle (gap) triangle

Side view: triangle (gap) triangle+triangle (gap) triangle+triangle (gap) triangle

• "Diagonal" = line between triangles in "triangle(gap)triangle".
• "Vertical" = line between triangles in "triangle+triangle".

• Do the diagonals first, the verticals second.
• The diagonals have a gap the size of (important) half a panel. Tape, fold, tape the spine. It's a loose hinge, but remember the gap is _half_ the thickness of a panel.
• The verticals have no gap. Tape, fold, tape the spine. It's a tight hinge.

For travel

Stack the folded 2 semi-walls and the folded 2 semi-roofs, bundle them, place on top of car or inside truck, drive.

At the Playa

• Unbundle.
• Tape the semi-walls together.
• Tape the semi-roofs together.
• Put roof on top (with help).
• Tape roof to walls.
• Add strings and pegs.
• Add windows and doors and other niceties.
• Enjoy.
• Separate roof from walls.
• Separate 2 half-roofs.
• Separate 2 half walls.
• Fold, pack, go home, store.
