Though this may have been successful may I suggest a redesign closer to that found in the humanure handbook. It is simpler and uses fewer resouces while achieving the same goals. Additionally the composting operation could be central to 2-4 family units reducing the work of each individual to maintain it.

Grammar/spelling done[edit source]

The main updates are complete for this article. Some content could use changing, for example the addition of a dimentioned drawing for the molds, however the main work is done.--Vacuum1313 15:23, 12 December 2006 (PST)

Questions[edit source]

Why are the two slabs and gutter necessary?

What are their dimmensions?

What are frequently encountered problems in their construction?

Can links be provided to other necessary elements of the design? (IE composting cellars and pits)

Also, as I understand, it is generally accepted that if 100 m are maintained between the latrine and wells/fresh water sources, the risk of contamination is acceptably low.
