The Sydney Development Circle provides informal networking opportunities for anyone interested in international and community development. SDC provides a forum for sharing ideas and resources as well as discussing issues.

The network meets quarterly with an average of 50 people at each gathering. Special interest groups may also meet independently, and include: Governance, Peace & Conflict, Entry Points to Community Development, Health, Education, Infrastructure, Communication/Knowledge sharing, Community Development Models, Aid Delivery, Sustainability and Africa.
