What to bring

Here is an incomplete list of items to pack for the Practivistas Dominicana Program.

  1. reusable water bottle
  2. travel umbrella, light
  3. swimsuit
  4. beach towel
  5. Work gloves
  6. Work clothes
  7. lightweight raincoat
  8. Waterproof shoes
  9. antibacterial tissues
  10. sunscreen
  11. cotton socks
  12. comfortable clothes for heat
  13. very comfortable walking shoes
  14. formal summer outfit (for formal occasions)
  15. sunglasses
  16. hat for the sun
  17. backpack
  18. moneybelt (optional - serves to bring some money and save things for personal use)
  19. sandals (optional)
  20. pocket money ($300 USD) [ATM card is safer]
  21. a small gift for your family (e.g. something from Humboldt)
