# Se usa una lámina de cartón de 60 cm x 80 cm, o más grande si la encuentras.
# Use a cardboard sheet 60 cm x 80 cm or larger.
# Se hacen líneas para marcar las divisiones en 2x3 partes, y se hacen cortes sólo en las líneas "A".
# Draw lines to divide in 2x3 parts, and cut "A" lines only.
# El resto de las líneas (las punteadas) son para hacer pliegues "cóncavos". Puedes hacer un corte incompleto en el cartón, sin atravesarlo, para que luego "se deje doblar" por ahí.
# The dotted lines are all for concave folding, so you can make a careful "half-cut" and then it will be easier to fold.
# Se hacen los dos agujeros, que luego se usan para atar las lengüetas marcadas en rojo por debajo de la base, que está en amarillo. Ese garabato entre los agujeros se supone que es un lazo como el de los zapatos. No te interesa hacer un nudo permanente porque vas a querer plegar el invento para llevártelo a otro sitio.
# Make two holes, so that the string will go through the holes once the red parts are below the yellow part. The string is knotted like your shoes'. Not a permanent knot because you want to be able to take the kitchen to other places.
# Se forra por la cara cercana a nosotros con papel de aluminio. Vale la cara interior de algunas bolsas de papas fritas. Si no tienes pegamento a lo mejor puedes graparlo.
# Glue foil paper to the part of the cardboard closer to you. Maybe the inner side of some fried chips bags. If there's no glue you may staple it.
# El botellón con la base recortada (descartas la base) es para conseguir más efecto invernadero. El botellón (quitada la base) puede apoyarse sobre un círculo de arena para que esté mejor sellado y no se pierda casi nada de calor por ahí.
# The bottle with the bottom cut off (and discarded, unless you find a use for it) helps in getting more greenhouse effect. You can place it on a circle made of sand so that it's more air-tight, so almost no heat should come out there.
# Dentro del "invernadero" te cabe por ejemplo un bote de cristal, con tapa. El bote (y la tapa) los puedes pintar de negro con alguna pintura que no produzca vapores tóxicos al calentarse. Para eso, tal vez sirva usar carbonilla pegada con agua de arroz o algo así.
# Inside the "greenhouse" you could place a glass jar, with its lid. Both the jar and the lid can be painted black with some kind of paint that doesn't produce toxic vapour when heated. Coal with rice water or something.

¡Y cuidado, que quema! La temperatura no sé si superará los 100ºC (creo que no), pero se calienta bastante. Usa paños doblados o guantes para agarrar el bote caliente.
Careful, it's hot! I don't think temperature goes above 100ºC. Use folded cloth or gloves to grab the hot jar.

This is the simplest solar cooker I've been able to design:

  1. Use a cardboard sheet 60 cm x 80 cm or larger.
  2. Draw lines to divide in 2x3 parts, and cut "A" lines only.
  3. The dotted lines are all for concave folding, so you can make a careful "half-cut" and then it will be easier to fold.
  4. Make two holes, so that the string will go through the holes once the red parts are below the yellow part. The string is knotted like your shoes'. Not a permanent knot because you want to be able to take the kitchen to other places.
  5. Glue foil paper to the part of the cardboard closer to you. Maybe the inner side of some fried chips bags. If there's no glue you may staple it.
