DUHC Rainwater Catchment System
'IntroductionAfter meeting with Kaitlan and David of Democracy Unlimited of Humboldt County we were given the go ahead to design a rainwater catchment system for their home/business. DUHC decided on a non-potable system for watering the vegetable garden, fruit trees, berries, and animals.
The system will store rainwater in a 2500 Gal polythylene Tank that is 95"x 86". A tank this size poses a challenge to not interfere with the usable space in the main yard. Fortunately, an area for the tank was found outside of the main yard that is never used by the owners. This location poses four challenges
