A major concern of the laptop users is to extend the life of their laptop battery. There are small tricks with which you can save power. You can make the fullest use of a laptop battery with a number of good suggestions to ensure that you can extend the maximum battery life and thus improve work efficiency, enjoy the mobile office and entertainment with fewer limits.

Following are the tips to extend the life of laptop battery

  • Reduce the brightness of the screen.
  • When not using the wireless receiver device, turn it off. (There is often a hardware switch - just be sure to remember later when you need to turn it on again. Or you can turn it off via your network manager.)
  • Try to avoid at high or low temperature use. For example, when at the beach parked in the sun, do not leave your laptop in the car.

  • Set screen saver as blank, turning on after 1 to 2 minutes of your notebook.
  • Close unused programs in your notebook.
  • Remove unused PC Cards or USB devices from your notebook.
  • Don't short circuit terminal or store your battery pack with metal parts.
  • Don't drop or mutilate the battery pack.
  • It is normal to get warm when charging or normal use. If it is getting too hot, you may be running too many programs, or there may be a problem with the device and qualified personnel should check it.
