This page describes how to install Franklin on your Athena. This is meant for students of MY4777, but may of course also be used by others.
If you have problems with the procedure, please write them at the bottom of this page. I'll try to address them. Before writing anything, you should of course check if the problem and perhaps the solution are already there.
Method
- Shut down the Athena.
- Download the installer package.
- Unpack all the files to a USB thumbdrive.
- Insert the drive into the USB port on the Athena.
- Start the Athena back up.
- Wait for it to shut itself down. Note that this takes about 10 minutes.
- Remove the drive from the USB port.
- Start the Athena back up.
- Go to http://192.168.76.2:8000/admin .

Note that Franklin is experimental and not yet suitable for other people on the mailing list. If you have problems using it, please file them as issues on github instead of asking on the list.
