Purpose
Students in Introduction to Design (Engr215), at Humboldt State University, are working with World Shelters to design and improve upon structures by leveraging the resources of Haiti and World Shelters.

JAS piece reduction
- Purpose: Reduce connecting pieces of the existing JAS to a single unit.
- Team: Team ACE

Hurricane resistance
- Purpose: Increase hurricane resistance of JAS Shelter.

Thin wall for JAS
- Purpose: Develop a Lightweight, cheap and thin rigid wall system for the JAS shelter.
- Team: HelpHaiti
- WorldShelters Make it Complete with Papercrete
Rubble2Resource
- Purpose: Find valuable uses (instead of just hauling it away) for the rubble in Haiti.
- Team: Rubblution

- Purpose: Find valuable uses for the dirt in Haiti.
