We'd like to link to articles related to simple technologies, preferably built with available stuff, so that people and communities will be able to respond more resiliently.
We need to learn:
- Should we create a portal rather than a category?
- A category is essential, a portal is an option if there are people to put in the time to create and maintain it. (Not a huge amount of time, but some commitment). --Chriswaterguy · talk 07:10, 21 December 2007 (PST)
- How do we practically link to appropriate pages? Or do we need to link from those pages to this one?

We also need to think what to link to (subcategories, or whatever the appropriate name is): food, water, waste, home care, communications, etc.
