It is planned to include and develop policy content here.

Proposed or actual policies will be placed in the (yet to be created) categories Policy templates and/or Proposed policies.

Suggestion: we could start by filling the category with relevant policy pages from think tanks and possibly political parties. We can put these in the Original namespace, and readers can compare them easily, and editors can draw on them when developing policy templates. What kind of material will be acceptable under Appropedia's content policy? Can party policies be posted or excerpted, as long as the focus is on the content, not endorsement or attacks of a party or candidate?

Note also that permission is needed before porting such documents (see Appropedia:Original content).

If any material is decided to be inappropriate for Appropedia, there are two other wikis that may be more suitable:

• Issuepedia - free from NPOV constraints and issues of supporting candidates or parties.
• Sustainable Community Action Wiki - focused on campaigns for sustainability.
