This is purely a informal proposal. Ekopedia has not approved or rejected it at this stage. --Chriswaterguy ~

Ekopedia and Appropedia are adopting a deep and adaptable partnership. Ekopedia and Appropedia share the vision of a positive collaboration witch could lead to a projects merge. Both projects will walk, step by step in the direction of the merge.

Here is our projects collaboration roadmap proposal:

1. Step 1: Compatible licensing
   1. We define a compatible licensing definition (like CC-BY-SA-3.0 + FAL).
2. Step 2: content sharing and translation
   1. French pages on Appropedia are ported to Ekopedia.
   2. English pages on Ekopedia are ported to Appropedia.
   3. French pages on Ekopedia are translated to English pages at Appropedia
   4. English pages on Appropedia are translated to French pages at Ekopedia
3. Step 3: links creation & taxonomy
   1. Interlanguage links are established between the wikis, in both directions.
   2. en.ekopedia.org is forwarded to Appropedia
   3. fr.appropedia.org is forwarded to Ekopedia
   4. we choose what do to with other languages
4. Step 4: projects merge
   1. develop similar taxonomy.
   2. Project name choice.
   3. Legal issues (do we keep both organizations...)

We (contributors & founder of Appropedia and Ekopedia) agree that this is our common vision and will work all together in getting this vision done with this adaptable roadmap.

Ekopedia et Appropedia sont en train d'adopter un profond mais adaptable partenariat. Ekopedia et Appropedia partagent la vision d'une fructeuse collaboration qui pourrait mener à la fusion des projets. Les deux projets vont ainsi avancer, pas à pas vers cette fusion.

Voici la trajectoire suggérée pour la fusion des 2 projets:

1. Étape 1: Rendre les licences compatibles
   1. Nous allons définir et mettre en place un système de licences compatibles. (comme CC-BY-SA-3.0 + FAL).
2. Étape 2: Partage du contenu et traducion
   1. Les pages francophones d'Appropedia sont amenées sur Ekopedia.
   2. Les pages anglophones d'Ekopedia sont amenées sur Appropedia.
   3. Les pages francophones d'Ekopedia sont traduites en pages anglophones sur Appropedia
   4. Les pages anglophones d'Approdpedia sont traduites en pages francophones sur Ekopedia
3. Étape 3: Création de liens et taxonomie (commune)
   1. Des liens entre les langues sont établis dans les deux directions entre les wikis.
   2. en.ekopedia.org est renvoyé sur Appropedia
   3. fr.appropedia.org est renvoyé sur Ekopedia
   4. décision quant au sort réservé aux autres langues
4. Étape 4: fusion des projets
   1. développement d'une taxonomie similaire
   2. Choix d'un nom de projet.
   3. Situation légale (gardons-nous les deux organisations...)

Nous (contributeurs & fondateurs d'Appropedia et Ekopedia) acceptons que ceci soit notre vision commune et nous travaillerons tous ensemble à la réalisation de celle-ci tout en suivant de façon souple (réfléchie) le plan originel.
