This is an Appropedia Content Initiative - a call to collaborate on creating a comprehensive knowledge resource on an important subject area. We ask for original contributions, look for open licensed content we can use, convert that content to wiki format, and look for partners in academia and other institutions.

We ask for participants to do concrete tasks, whether for minutes or hours, and to invite others to use, contribute to and blog on these pages. You may wish to volunteer for one of the volunteer positions.

    • NGOs, who might find the content useful, and tell their network, and even make their own content available.
    • Experts, especially bloggers with expertise on the field, as they are already making their knowledge available at no cost and might agree to an open license.
    • Academics, university departments and campus-based organizations, highlighting our request for service learning partners.
