Be a part of the Appropedia community - join us online for the Appropedia Jam this Monday, November 12th! (Tuesday morning in Asia & Australasia.)

Pick a topic or an article you want to work on, join the chat and get help with your article.

When: Monday November 12, 2012, 6pm PST(Tuesday November 13, 2012, 2am GMT). See what time this is in your time zone. (We've blocked out two hours, but you don't have to stay for 2 hours... and you don't have to leave at the end of 2 hours.) A few examples of local times are given below:
  • North and Central America:
    • Pacific Time (PDT) 6pm
    • Central Time (CDT) 8pm
    • Eastern Time (EDT) 9pm
  • UK, Ireland and Portugal 2am
  • China, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Central Indonesia 10am Tuesday 13th (early start!)
  • Sydney/Melbourne/Canberra/Hobart, Australia 1pm Tuesday 13th AEDT
  • New Zealand 3pm Tuesday 13th (NZDT).

Details for future events

Day: Second Sunday of each month. (Monday morning in Asia & Oceania.)
Time: 10pm GMT. We'll try to give a few local times around the world each time, and you can also look up the time in your own timezone (see the Time Zone Converter to convert from "UTC/GMT").

  • If you're in a timezone that uses daylight saving, or if you sometimes change timezones, then adding the event as a recurring event can be difficult. (It's possible to choose the correct GMT timezone, but a bug in Google Calendar shows the wrong time for future recurrences. Instead, add
