Our monthly chat is an internet chat and editing jam to talk about Appropedia - what you're working on, challenges for Appropedia, and ideas to improve things. As this is new, we may try out different chat platforms, so check here for details, or join the community mailing list.

Next meeting

The next meeting will be an edit jam. Pick a topic or an article you want to work on, join the chat and get help with your article.

When: Sunday October 14, 2012, 10pm GMT. A few examples are given below to help you find your own time:
  • North and Central America:
    • Pacific Time (PDT) 3pm
    • Central Time (CDT) 5pm
    • Eastern Time (EDT) 6pm
  • UK, Ireland and Portugal 11pm
  • China, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Central Indonesia 6am Monday 15th (early start!)
  • Sydney/Melbourne/Canberra/Hobart, Australia 9am Monday 15th AEDT
  • New Zealand 11am Monday 15th (NZDT).
Check the Time Zone Converter to convert from GMT (look for "UTC/GMT") to your time zone. You can also try adding the following "Appropedia online events calendar to your calendar, if you have Google calendar (or anything compatible with Google Calendar). That should convert the time to your timezone, but you'll probably want to double-check it: XML, HTML, iCal. (iCal is a file so it won't update if there are changes - but you can always check back here.)
Where (virtual meeting place):
Theme: Edit jam - think about what page you'd like to start or improve, and any questions you'd like to ask... or just turn up and join in!
