Our success as a species comes primarily from our ability to understand, to share that understanding, and to build on the understanding gained by others.
Our success as a species is now undermining itself. Our ability to take and to build is threatening our security and our ability to enjoy life.
We cannot continue in the same direction, but changing the basic model of human society is a mammoth task - as we can see by the lip service paid to it, and the minimal action to date.
So, what do we need, to create the Future We Deserve (or perhaps more accurately, the future that the next generations deserve)?
