I thought that Empowerment Technology subject will be easy for me because of the fact that we are now living in a modern world and knowledge about technology is already everywhere but as we dig deeper to the subject, I realized my knowledge is still not enough for me to be considered smart about the topic. Despite that, I treasure each and every learnings I gained from this subject because it brought positive influences and impacts in my life. I declare that the subject has positive influence for me specifically because it unleashed some of my hidden confidence ,where I thought I never have, through some of activities where speaking in front is needed like those of presentation that we are obliged to do in either primary or intermediate department. I became one of the speaker and did it well somehow. Different discoveries have been discovered by us generally and individually, I personally have my discovery of myself. One of it was that I never thought I was able to prolonged my patience until it was test several times by this subject. Thinking I won’t survive for I am naturally an impatient type of person, I was shocked by the good result I received which my performance is its basis. Because of ETech I learned to develop and improve my trashy attitude.
The most challenging situation I have ever been in was to skip lunch or miss any second just to wait outside of the Primary Department Head for her signature and approval. It was a tough experience for me though because we only had limited time and is the only group who haven’t performed yet causing us to be extremely under pressured all the more reason the head wasn’t easy to approach. And by all the things I’ve been through in this subject, I realized only one thing. And that is there are still a lot for me to learn, that my knowledge, patience, determination, and behaviors aren’t enough for me to survive neither in school nor in the real world. And to be able to make myself better, I should be open for new knowledge and strive hard to handle things maturely, may it be bad or good for me. I am rooting for the saying “there will always be a room for improvement”. This solution of mine isn’t only for my own convenience but is also applicable whatever your problems may be. One should always seek for improvement and be eager for wisdom. There are also times that things will get rough in terms of communicating with my groupmates when tasks were given because not all of them share the same concern as I but we still managed to survive, we managed to pass and I guess that’s all that matters. It is quite normal for a certain task to have glitches or didn’t went well as planned. And I could say it’s our individual irresponsibilities that made our expectations fall short, but the fact that everyone of us tried to give off our very best, all efforts made sense.
