i am harry warner living on a small farm on salt spring island, bc, canada.
almost two years ago a young woman talked with me about her need for a home for herself and her 2 year old son. Molly was a member of the Mudgirls collective (mudgirls.ca).
Thus our little community was started - molly and her team built a cob house to join a stick frame building already in place, built by a female artist and her friends and another cabin built by an 18-year old woman..
I feel VERY blessed to be able to share my / our 10 acres with such wonderful beings.
WE have used slip straw insulation in many places. unfortunately we need to import straw as there is as yet very little grain grown on the island.
