= Food in the Canary Islands / Comida en Canarias = What follows is an exploration of the food we consume and produce in the Canary Islands. The principal idea is to provide a comprehensible overview of how we cover our current needs: what we eat and how much of each item eaten, and where the foods we eat come from. Also, what we produce and how much of each product and what resources we are using to produce these things. Finally, what real resources exist for the possibility of "different produce": more variety, more ecologically friendly, more destined for the local market. All of it, in the style of [[Canaripedia]], based on data that supported by certifiable sources, or at least using reasonable and transparent estimations.
