The thinking behind the category[edit source]
I just created this category to help navigate the essential topics to human survival.
There are other needs which aren't usually critical to survival, at least in the short-term, but are still very basic needs, that can affect the fundamental issues such as water, shelter and safety. These other needs are Culture and community and Transport (at least those are the ones that come to mind). --Chriswaterguy 18:07, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
