Judicious policies and guidelines are required for WinWinWiki to develop into a tool that can identify and deliver win-win results. Assume that the proven P's and G's from Wikipedia will apply here unless otherwise noted. Here are some of the policies and guidelines that have been identified as worthy of explicit notice:
- Include all significant points of view. This will mean that there will likely be some conflicting points of view.
- It is better to leverage existing web content than to duplicate it. Where good content exists, provide a link. If additional information or perspective is appropriate for the WinWinWiki community, by all means provide that in addition to the link.
- In the spirit of wikis, anyone can edit with or without logging in. However, there will likely be some benefits to both the wiki and individual users if users routinely log in. (Those benefits will need to be articulated.)
