Desalination, and carbon storage with wood

Thanks your work. Water Desalinization Using Water/Wind/Solar Power seems like a reasonable start. I don't know a whole lot about these technologies, but I know that desalination tends to be more expensive and energy intensive than other water treatment methods. However, when the only only available water is saline, it may be the best option (rather than trucking or piping water from far away.) However, perhaps a cleverly designed solar still, for example, could turn out to be more affordable and practical than previous designs.
If there is limited freshwater, but also some water with higher-than-desirable salinity, the saline water is sometimes used to top up the freshwater – but a limited amount, so that the final salinity is within acceptable levels. Something to keep in mind.
Carbon Capture and Storage Using Wood also looks like a good start – and on a very important topic.
