Tressie Word

My professional goal is to improve global and local environmental conditions in creative, appropriate and elegant ways. Water, space and beauty drive me. Eight years of engineering, four years of construction and fabrication, and a lifetime of artistic endeavors propel me to catalyze broad scale changes in global health and sanitation, with style.

My engineering experience is focused in natural wastewater treatment, hydrology, stream restoration, civil engineering, and appropriate hazardous waste management. My applied skills lie in sculpture, interior design, residential home construction, equipment fabrication and auto body repair. My work in effecting broader change has manifested in local and international events on natural wastewater treatment, watershed management, alternative energy and excellence in building design.
