Currently pursuing Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with Design and Manufacturing as a specialization.
Previous professional experiences:
1. Worked as a Mechanical Systems Engineer for Side by Side Off-road, Sports and Military vehicles.
Projects Implemented:
• New product development for an Off-road single seater sports vehicle model. • Design and Development of an Off-road multipurpose utility vehicle upgrading the existing model to reduce overall vehicle weight.
Role:
• Layout Design: Generated a conceptual e-layout, defined machine specifications and designed vehicle considering Strength, Modularity, cost, Aesthetic, Sourcing, Ease of Assembly, Ease of Manufacturing and Design for Safety.
• Detail Design of individual systems: Created detail design of individual systems consisting both functional and structural components.
• System Integration and optimization: Integrated different systems with the base unit and with each other. Checked for interference and optimization in integration of systems.
• Release: Finalized 3D models, generated manufacturing drawings for sheet metal parts, welding drawings and installation drawings, and submitted data into PLM systems (Windchill).
2. Worked as an Engineering Trainee under various departments of the clutch manufacturing and assembly facility for Heavy Commercial vehicles facility at Vadodara.
Role:
• Precisely worked with press and machining operation and heat treatment processes for sheet metal and forge components. • Inspection report of clutch assembly for parts specification meeting with drawings.
