Biography[edit | edit source]

Hello! I am a current graduate student in the Environmental and Energy Policy Masters Program at Tech. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Kenyon College while simultaneously competing as an NCAA athlete for four years.

I have hands on laboratory experience after interning in a cardiovascular research laboratory at The Ohio State University, under the direction of primary investigator Arturo J. Cardounel M.D., Ph.D.

Ultimately I plan to build a career around researching, developing, and implementing sound solar PV systems.

Current Projects/Research Interests[edit | edit source]

My research interests lie in Energy Policy and distributed generation. More specifically, I am interested in Upper Michigan's energy policies regarding distributed generation (i.e. solar, wind, biomass, etc). Designing and implementing policies that allow consumers to purchase efficient and reliable power at decreased costs.

I am currently working with Dr. Chelsea Schelly and Dr. Joshua Pearce on the impacts of photovoltaic technology on national security.

Moving forward, I would like to work specifically with Solar/PV technology and policy in an Energy Consulting position. Please feel free to open a dialogue with me through my LinkedIn Account.I have great interest in utilizing renewable energy as a means of improving infrastructure resilience.
