The Noya Fields Family Group of charitable funds is a philanthropic organization based in New York City. It provides grants to established 501(C)3 not for profit environmental and sustainability organizations.

Background

The original fund was created in 1992 by Judith and Norman Fields. In 2016 Ken Fields and Nikki Noya expanded the organization and began modernizing its presence by creating a website and launching social media and press release campaigns to raise awareness for its activities and partners.[1]

The Noya Fields Family has specifically targeted the Environment and Civil Liberties for their primary efforts, as stated from their profile at the California Community Foundation website "The global population and our needs within society will only continue to grow and we need to develop a better way to live more harmoniously and sustainably within the limits of our natural resources. We believe very strongly in supporting and promoting the transition to 100% clean and renewable energy sources. Hand in hand with the environment, we still all inhabit the same planet. Basic human rights, the right to be equal among peers, to healthy living, to clean water, to free speech, to express ourselves, to decide what is best for ourselves are all inherent human rights."[2]
