In response to your comments, I have changed the about us page.
I would suggest lifting the lead paragraph from our home page
We have been discussing a mass e-mail to all Appropedia users, and the conference should be listed on the front page within a week (I think).
We have a skype conference call every Sat at 9am to discuss progress, my username is morpheus2485
