- I was born and raised in Fort Bragg, California. I enjoy sports, hiking, camping, and just being outside in general.

- I am interested in learning all I can about appropriate technologies. I am also interested in learning how to become more involved in both the scientific community, and the Humboldt community.

I have done some gardening work in the past, but in general this is all very new to me. Before this semester I had never even heard the term "appropriate technology." I feel this is an expanding concept with tons of opportunities.
