This is a proposed design for a water supply pump+module. The pump is to have a drive shaft extending outside of a special pipe section. The drive shaft is to be powered by an electrical engine (or an IC-engine). Having the engine outside of the pipe facilitates repair/maintenance and the pump parts can be easily fitted to existing pipes. The electrical engine (if used) is to be powered by its own electrical storage system, to prevent the cessation of operation in case of a power outtage (frequent in developing countries).
