I am a third year Mechanical Engineering student at Queen's University, Canada. Before starting engineering, I completed a degree in Life Science, and hope to utilize both degrees upon graduation. My academic/career interests lie in sustainable design, biomechanics/technology, renewable energy and appropriate technology.
Interests & Experience[edit | edit source]
In previous summers I have had the chance to work in both academia and in industry. As a research assistant I helped to study the kinematics of the tree planting task in Northern Ontario, while my work as a summer student for DuPont and Invista focused on communication, training, health and safety. When I'm not studying I love spending time with the people I care about, being outside/on the water, and playing Ultimate Frisbee.
