Put this on your draft article in userspace, or add it to a worthwhile draft if userfying a page.

Add a comment as an optional "argument" to the template, like this:

{{draft|THIS IS A COMMENT ABOUT THE DRAFT.}}

which displays like this:

This page is a draft
