2007 model design[edit source]
Dear people
I have been struggling to find a method to make the lamp cap for the 3rd world arm lamp simpler. Mutch more simple to make with simple tools and materials
The result is even more simple than what i thought was possible, and the lamp is even more lightweight.
I believe this concept is perfect to be a very successful lamp design to use everywhere in development countries. Not just as a worklamp but as street lighting a well.
I ave some small things to improve in the design

New assemble drawings[edit source]
Dear people
To keep the drawings as clear and simple as possible i only show how to assemble the lamp cap with one CCFL unit (CCFL lamp tube + inverter).
Reliable CCFL Inverter design[edit source]
A big problem with this project is that:
The type of inverters that only feed one CCFL tube is not really reliable.
Who can help me to find a good, cheap and simple multiple Inverter design that can feed three or four CCFL-tubes.

I am trying to make a new kind of organisation on this page.
We found a new method to put a CCFL-tube-inverter-assemble in ONE! PET Bottle
This have some advantages if you want to make a lamp cap with one or two CCFL tubes.
It is not possible to put more than two tubes in one PET bottle
