The Millennium Development Goals Wiki was a brainstorming tool dedicated to creating ideas, actions and finding new solutions for achieving the Millennium Development Goals. Its stated aim was to identify the best practices to date in different areas of the world for to each of the goals.
Reasons for failure are unknown, but it is noteworthy that most wikis appear to either fail or stagnate. Growing as a thriving community and useful resource takes enormous commitment and a large enough group of people taking an interest.
