The title of the page "Help:Contents" seems inaccurate (this is highlighted by the link to the category page, which actually does include the content listing of all the help pages). Perhaps, once upon a time, this was truly the contents of help, or the name may have been inherited from Wikipedia (which includes a full content table on the right hand side). Now, it seems more of an overview.

This suggests that either the page content needs to reflect the title, or vice versa. Could be Help:Overview, or we could add the table of links down the right hand side.

Thoughts? --CurtB 22:23, 9 November 2007 (PST)

Seems like the current content is really Help:Editing, especially since this is where you get redirected when you click Editing help at the bottom of the edit page. We could stop the redirect and put this page's contents onto Help:Editing. Help:Contents could then be either turned into a Help table of contents, redirected to Help:Overview, or redirected to Category:Help. Steve.mccrosky 15:18, 10 November 2007 (PST)

Add orientation info / help[edit source]

How about adding to this Help some info / guidance on the Wiki "user environment". e.g. Explain the tabs :

   * Discussion
   * Edit
   * +
   * History
   * Move
   * Watch

and about User pages ... ? --Uriel 14:50, 21 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
