Proposed new Appropedia logo, containing original items (tree, wind energy harvester), and a color scheme
- green refers to ecologism/"environmentalism"
- red refers to socialism/ assistance to the common people
- blue refers to libaralism/democracy
The color scheme was inspired on idea 10 (File:Aprologo-ColorConcept Qs.png) of https://www.appropedia.org/Appropedia:Logos I made the colors darker though.
I'm still not pleased with the image though, still needs a rework (I think the 3-bladed propeller should be best placed higher up, in the center of the round ring, also the colors may be still a little too bright (redirects attention from the tree itself), and the tree itself still needs some clean up, ie darker color/"man" still needs to be perfected, ...)
The wind energy harvester comes from http://www.openclipart.org/detail/27801 , The original tree of life image (which was modified to this image came from Roger Johnson
